Meatball pizza was one of the pizzas I used to make when I lived by myself using my mom’s pizza dough and vegetarian meatballs. This time I used my own pizza dough, store bought turkey meatballs, and sautéed red onion. And of course, marinara and mozzarella cheese. This pizza was fabulous; we fought over the leftovers! The only thing I might change next time would be to make my own meatballs. Although, I tried that once years ago and it didn’t turn out too great. But, I’m a better cook now and I’m willing to give it a try again. I will surely come back to this pizza recipe.
